More than 60 people gathered at the Family YMCA of Fayette County for VCAA’s public relaunch and a three-hour discussion about coordinated, long-term growth.

The discussion centered on unity, strategic alignment, sustainable growth, competitiveness for funding and investment, and preserving the quality of life that makes Vandalia distinctive.

Community leaders identified more than $50 million in recent local investment across major public, educational, healthcare, recreational, and infrastructure projects.

How we are different
Connecting, Not Replacing
Vandalia Civic Advancement does not replace the work of local government, the Chamber of Commerce, economic-development organizations, schools, healthcare providers, recreation organizations, businesses, or other community institutions.
Those organizations continue to lead services, programs, operations, and projects within their areas of responsibility.
VCAA connects the broader system surrounding that work—aligning strategy, institutions, resources, opportunities, and long-term community priorities.
